Scott Hudler, Whataburger SVP and Chief Marketing Officer described the milkshake as a "party in a cup" and asserted it will "taste like fun," according to a statement obtained by KSAT. For those unable to snag the free shake on Thursday, Whataburger plans to feature the birthday cake milkshake on its menu for a period following the event.
National Whataburger Day, which is celebrated today right alongside the burger chain's birthday, represents more than just free shakes – it pays homage to a company deeply rooted in Texas history.
