A woman has tragically lost her life after a domestic dispute led to her jumping onto her partner's car and sustaining a fatal head injury. This incident took place early this morning in the vicinity of La Cantera Terrace near an apartment complex in the northwest side of town.
As reported by FOX San Antonio, the San Antonio Police Department said that around 1:30 a.m., the woman, whose identity has not been released, tried to desperately jump onto the moving vehicle as her partner attempted to leave during what was evidently an intense argument. The woman subsequently slid off the car and struck her head.
Emergency services were quick to respond, and the injured woman was immediately transported to the hospital in critical condition. Despite the efforts of medical personnel, she was later pronounced dead, as detailed in KENS 5.
SAPD continues to thoroughly investigate the circumstances surrounding the tragic event and, at this stage, it remains unclear if the man involved will to face any charges. The full details surrounding the argument and the couple's history are still to be disclosed.
