A tragic incident unfolded at the South Memphis Riviana Foods manufacturing site where an individual lost their life due to what has been described by authorities as a "workplace accident." According to ABC24, the Memphis Police Department received an ambulance call at around 6 a.m. on August 29, and upon arrival at the scene, the man was pronounced dead.
As reported by WREG, the address 2314 South Lauderdale was swiftly responded to by Memphis Police after the incident. Riviana Foods is undergoing an investigation where the police have not released any additional information regarding the deceased man, while the death is being investigated as a workplace accident.
Adding to the details, Fox13 Memphis reported that the death occurred on the job at the food distribution center located at the same South Memphis address. The employee found dead was working at the time of the incident, as stated by the Memphis Police.
