
The Wright County Sheriff's Office has released its arrest report for the period ending August 19, capturing a wide range of alleged criminal activity, from domestic abuse to controlled substance possession. Notably, multiple arrests for various degrees of DWI stand out, alongside several cases of theft and several arrests for domestic assault.
Among the arrested was Robert William Bohach, a 41-year-old from Howard Lake, taken into custody in Annandale on charges of 1st Degree Controlled Substance and Convicted Felon in Possession of a Firearm/Ammo. This arrest underscores a persistent challenge in the community: the intersection of narcotics and unlawful possession of firearms. On the same day, three Akron, Ohio residents—Destiny Hope Johnson, Joshua Allen Mack, and Eric Dean Pratt, aged 24, 29, and 24 respectively—were all arrested in Middleville Township on a charge of Financial Transaction Card Fraud, hinting at a possible coordinated criminal activity, as detailed by the Wright County Minnesota.
Subsequent days saw an assortment of charges leveled against various individuals. On August 13th, Ali Aways Mohamed, a 28-year-old from Waite Park, was arrested in Hennepin County on a Wright County warrant for Receiving Stolen Property. Meanwhile, Margarito Rodriguez Jr, 36, faced Wright County warrants for 5th Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct and Domestic Assault upon his arrest in Buffalo. The Wright County Sheriff's Office also reported multiple instances of Domestic Assault by Strangulation, with arrests including that of Tristen Wayne Krueger, a 25-year-old from Montrose.
Driving-related offenses constituted a significant portion of the report, with a pronounced number of DWI arrests. Chad Steven Hovde, a 48-year-old from Dayton, was apprehended in Monticello on a charge of 2nd-degree DWI on August 13, according to the Wright County Sheriff's Office. Additionally, over the period, there were arrests for 12 DWIs, indicating an ongoing issue with alcohol-impaired driving within the county. However, traffic violations overall were numerous, with 125 miscellaneous traffic violations reported in the same week.
The Wright County report further showed a total of 60 Property Damage Accidents, 5 Personal Injury Accidents, 7 Hit and Run Accidents, and 5 Car Deer Accidents. The wide range of incidents and traffic-related offenses highlight the varied nature of public safety concerns that Wright County law enforcement officials regularly address.
