Heads up, Wright County motorists: County Highway 35 west of St. Michael is set to undergo a traffic pattern change this week. According to Wright County, all going to plan, and weather permitting, east-west traffic will be diverted from its current temporary south side lanes to the newly laid out northern lanes starting August 8.
This update comes as the next phase in the ongoing construction project is set to wrap as the chill of late fall sets in., as per Wright County.
The current detour and closure zones will hold steady through this traffic transition, ensuring a level of consistency amidst the change. Sara Buermann, Wright County's Assistant Engineer, is the point of contact for any questions or further information that might be needed by the public. She can be reached at her county email, [email protected], for those seeking clarity or with concerns regarding the ongoing road works.
