A youth has been arrested and charged with the murder of a man in Houston, according to a recent report. The suspect, identified as 17-year-old Bradley Jafed Cantarero-Flores, now faces a serious legal battle after being charged in connection to the fatal shooting.
The incident took place on Northline Drive at around 8:45 p.m. this past Monday, with HPD officers discovering a man with a gunshot wound on the sidewalk, as detailed in a statement obtained by the City of Houston News. The victim, whose name is still pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences, was pronounced deceased at the scene by paramedics.
Witnesses played a pivotal role in the case, helping to identify Cantarero-Flores as a person of interest. The young man was located on the property and subsequently detained. Upon further investigation and after statements from Cantarero-Flores, authorities confirmed his involvement in the shooting. Following their findings, and with input from the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, Cantarero-Flores, was charged and booked into the Harris County Jail.
