The event occurred just before the clock struck 7:55 p.m. yesterday at Perry Highway and Wellington Drive. According to WTAE, the man was walking southbound on Perry Highway when the collision occurred as he attempted to traverse the street.
Following the accident, the individual was rushed to the hospital, having sustained severe injuries. WPXI detailed that Allegheny County dispatchers coordinated the response, which included police officers, firefighters, and medics who were called to the sad scene.
