Yesterday, at approximately 12:05 a.m., officers responded to an armed robbery at the Union Church at 681 Hollins Ferry Road in Glen Burnie. According to the Anne Arundel County Police Department, upon arrival, they found that a male suspect had approached a 35-year-old victim while riding a white and black sport-style motorcycle. The suspect dismounted, brandished a handgun, and demanded money from the victim.

After frisking the victim, the suspect stole his wallet before fleeing the scene on the motorcycle. The incident left the victim shaken but unharmed. Officers began an immediate search of the area for the suspect and his vehicle, but no arrests were made at the time.
