The endeavor resulted in a notable statistic: of the 121 vehicles scrutinized, 83 were deemed to pass the security check, leaving 38 that failed to measure up. Vehicles found to be wanting were given a FAIL on their report card, a physical manifestation of a simple yet overlooked precaution.
