The Austin Police Department is actively seeking assistance from the public to identify a suspect linked to a robbery at CVS Pharmacy on East Parmer Lane earlier this month. In a report released by the APD, the incident took place on Saturday, September 14, between 6:25 a.m. and 6:30 a.m., where a man allegedly threatened a store employee and claimed he was armed. The confrontation quickly escalated as the employees defended themselves with a screwdriver, leading to the suspect sustaining multiple stab wounds before fleeing the scene on foot.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, estimated to be between 19-25 years old, and standing about 5’7” to 5’10” tall, weighing around 150-175 lbs., with a moustache, and curly hair that's shorter on the sides. His attire during the crime included a red hoodie, a white t-shirt, black jeans, and white shoes. Photos and a full description of the suspect have been released to aid in his capture. According to an APD statement, any individuals with information on the case are encouraged to come forward.
