Today, at approximately 1:47 a.m., officers on foot patrol heard gunfire in the 1100 block of Marshall Street. They quickly located a 24-year-old male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he was pronounced dead by medical personnel, as reported by the Baltimore Police Department.
In response to the incident, homicide detectives have taken over the investigation. They are working to gather evidence and piece together the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
