Yesterday at approximately 11:22 p.m., Northern District patrol officers were dispatched to the 3200 block of Greenmount Avenue following reports of a shooting incident. As the Baltimore Police Department reported, this area has seen a rise in safety concerns, making this response critical for community reassurance.
Upon arrival, officers found an 18-year-old male who had sustained an apparent gunshot wound. Emergency medical personnel were quickly called to the scene, and the victim was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. Fortunately, his injuries are currently believed to be non-life threatening.
