In regard to the shooting that occurred in the Northern District on September 17, 2024, detectives have arrested 25-year-old Emanuel Dukes of Baltimore.

Officers on patrol quickly apprehended Dukes at the scene. They not only arrested him but also recovered a loaded stolen handgun that he tried to throw away. Thanks to the officers' quick actions, this critical evidence was secured, which could help understand the crime better. The victim's identity has not been released, but he has been taken to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries.
Emanuel Dukes now faces charges including Attempted first-degree murder. After his arrest, he was transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility.
