
In a report shared by the Baltimore Police on their official website, a 32-year-old male has been arrested following an attempted armed robbery in Baltimore's Western District. The incident, taking place shortly after 6 p.m. on September 1st, occurred at a business situated in the 2400 block of Liberty Heights Avenue. Baltimore Police divulged that officers were summoned in response to the emergency call alleging the armed confrontation.

Sept. 1, 2024, at around 6:01 p.m., officers responded to a business in the 2400 block of Liberty Heights Avenue to investigate a call for an armed robbery.

The responding officers quickly managed to locate and apprehend the suspect who had reportedly tried to wield a weapon to coerce money from the employees of the business. However, the man's attempt to extract the funds was unsuccessful, leading him to flee the scene.
Despite his attempt to escape, police arrested the suspect and he was sent to the Central Booking Intake Facility following the failed robbery attempt.
