A 16-year-old male from Baltimore has been apprehended in connection with a shooting incident that took place in the city's Southern District late last month. As per the Baltimore Police Department, the attempted murder arrest follows the shooting event that occurred on August 31, when a 26-year-old male suffered a gunshot wound.
The investigation led detectives to the teenage suspect believed to have fired the shots in the 600 block of Cherry Hill Road. On September 11, an arrest warrant was issued, and two days later, the juvenile was taken into custody on charges of attempted first-degree murder, according to the Baltimore Police Department. He is currently held at the Central Booking Intake Facility without bail.
The narrative began when Southern District patrol officers detected gunshots in the vicinity of Cherry Hill Road on the afternoon of August 31. A short while later, a call came in about a shooting victim who had arrived at a local hospital seeking medical attention.
