The Bexar County Sheriff's Office is involved in a harrowing search turned investigation following the disappearance, and suspected homicide, of 63-year-old Stacey Dramiga. The woman was last seen yesterday at around 10 a.m., reportedly heading to walk the trails at Covington Park. As the situation unfolds, authorities are piecing together the last known movements of Dramiga in hopes of uncovering the circumstances of her death.

Initial reports from KSAT detailed the CLEAR Alert issued for Dramiga, who was described as having blonde hair and brown eyes, and standing at 5 feet 5 inches tall. She was seen wearing a light blue, long sleeve athletic shirt and dark, multi-colored leggings. Her vehicle was found securely locked at the park. However, efforts to immediately locate her proved to be challenging.

After a family iPad was used to further narrow down her last known location, a woman's body was found at the Salado Creek Greenway. Sheriff Javier Salazar refrained from confirming the body's identity as that of Stacey Dramiga, but he told KENS5, "the description matches what Dramiga was known to be wearing." The Bexar County officials have expressed that foul play appears to have significantly been involved, and thus the case is being investigated as a homicide.

The Bexar County Sheriff's Office is now to actively seek any individuals who may have encountered Dramiga on the day she went missing. "BCSO is asking that anyone who may have come in contact with her any time on Sunday to please contact the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office at (210) 335-6000," the sheriff's office stated, as per KENS5. The community has been rocked by this tragedy and the investigators are urging the public to step forward with any potentially helpful information.
