For the next two weeks, starting the week of Monday, August 26, work will be carried out to connect service lines to the new main and transition indoor meters to outdoor locations.
The essential upgrades, which are part of the company's ongoing infrastructure improvements, will see restricted parking on both sides of the affected streets — Bryant Avenue S. between 82nd Street W. and 84th Street W., and on Aldrich Avenue S. and Bryant Avenue S. between W. 86th Street and W. 90th Street. CenterPoint Energy's bulletin, published on September 4th, disclosed that "hard surface and soft surface restoration has begun and will continue for the next few weeks."
In addition to the service line and meter work, the infrastructure upgrades by CenterPoint Energy include working with Michels Corporation, an authorized contractor.
