The Boston Police Department has identified the victim of the September 23 shooting in Jamaica Plain as Quami J. Clarke, 19, of Boston. The shooting incident, which led to Clarke's death, occurred at approximately 9:22 p.m., at 277 Centre St. Upon their arrival, officers discovered Clarke with gunshot wounds, and he was subsequently transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to BPD official reports.
Investigators from the Homicide Unit are diligently looking into the details of the case, seeking to piece together the events that culminated in the violence. The Boston Police are calling upon anyone with information relating to the incident to come forward, and, provide what they know.
