After a violent altercation in Jamaica Plain, Boston police have arrested a suspect on multiple charges, including Assault and Battery by means of a Dangerous Weapon, and Operation of a Motor Vehicle with a Suspended License. Responding to a report of a stabbing at 383 Centre Street at about 9:42 PM, officers from District E-13 (Jamaica Plain) and District E-18 (Hyde Park) found an adult male victim with a stab wound. The victim received care from Boston EMS and was transported to a local hospital with injuries not deemed life-threatening. Pena's arrest followed shortly after an operations broadcast with a suspect and vehicle description. Officers conducted a traffic stop around 9:59 PM near 1251 Hyde Park Avenue, where the vehicle linked to the suspect was quickly identified. Pena, the sole occupant, was taken into custody without incident.
Pena's arraignment is scheduled in West Roxbury District Court.
