
The Boston Police Department is requesting the public's aid in identifying an individual connected to a recent breaking and entering incident in Roxbury. According to a community alert issued by the BPD, the episode took place in the early hours of September 6, 2024, at 31 Millmont Street. The suspect, described as a Black or Hispanic male with a thin build and hair pulled into a ponytail, is alleged to have stolen three bicycles.
The individual sought is reported to be between 5’8” and 5’10” and was last seen wearing a brown hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, black sneakers with white soles, and a white bicycle helmet. Detectives believe the suspect may regularly visit specific areas, including 10 Roxbury Street, Island Street, Gerald Street, and Massachusetts Avenue. In the surveillance footage, the suspect was spotted at approximately 3:59 AM near Melnea Cass Boulevard and later seen navigating between Dorchester Avenue and Island Street.
BPD detectives are actively investigating the breaking and entering case and are seeking the public's help. Anyone with valuable information is urged to come forward.
