The weather in Boston is expected to vary as the weekend approaches. Following rain on Thursday, the NBC Boston forecast indicates a brighter Friday with temperatures reaching the mid 70s, exceeding the average high of 69 degrees. Skies are anticipated to clear, leading to sunshine, while the evening will bring partly cloudy conditions with lows in the upper 50s.
As Saturday approaches, the weather narrative remains uncertain, with indications of filtered sunshine amidst cloud cover across Greater Boston. "Most of the day in Boston will be dry, but a few sprinkles are possible in western and central Massachusetts," NBC Boston reports.
The temperature is expected to hover in the mid to upper 60s. The weather for Sunday is looking up, with partly cloudy skies and highs again reaching the upper 60s, says the National Weather Service. As the new week begins, Monday is expected to offer some sunshine before clouds return on Tuesday, with the NWS suggesting possible showers. Highs are forecasted to remain around 70 degrees on Monday, but will drop to the 60s as we move into Tuesday and Wednesday.
Adding to regional news, Helene, a storm that hit Florida with severe force, continues to weaken as it moves inland. It will morph into a "remnant area of low pressure into the weekend" and linger in the mid-South, according to NBC Boston. However, Bostonians need not be concerned about Helene's storm impacting their weather; the storm "is not forecast to impact New England."
