A man has tragically lost his life after being shot multiple times in McKees Rocks late Friday night, as confirmed by the Allegheny County Police Department. According to WPXI, emergency services were alerted to the incident on Ella Street, nestled between Olivia Street and Shingiss Street, after 10:30 p.m., where they discovered a critically injured man, who was swiftly transported to an area hospital.
Despite the prompt response and efforts of medical professionals, the man succumbed to his injuries. He has been identified by the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office as William Hopkins, a 34-year-old resident of Castle Shannon, as WPXI reported.
Currently, there are no suspects in connection to the fatal shooting, and the motive remains unclear, with officials urging anyone possessing insights into the incident to contact the County Police Tip Line at 1-833-ALL-TIPS. Informants may maintain anonymity when giving tips, according to WTAE.
