As the calendar ticks over to fall, Central Florida prepares to roll out its eclectic mix of seasonal festivities. Nothing says autumn like a good old pumpkin patch or, should I say, an art festival with a spooky twist. With the Autumn Equinox marking the season's official start, Floridians can look forward to a platter of events that'll have them forgetting the perennial heat momentarily.

According to WFTV, a key highlight is the Great Scott Farms in Mount Dora, opening its doors for a corn maze and fall festival starting Sept. 28. While the heat might be unyielding, the festive spirit certainly isn't as guests are gearing up to get lost in the seasonal labyrinth. And for those with a sweet tooth, Jeff’s Bagel Run is offering autumn-themed treats that will surely add a dash of pumpkin spice to life. Meanwhile, SeaWorld’s Spooktacular harmoniously merges adorable sea creatures with Halloween fun, an event included with park admission running until Nov. 3.

Not to be overshadowed, ClickOrlando also detailed lists of must-visits, such as the Amber Brooke Farm Fall Festival in Eustis, kicking off on Sept. 21. And let's not leave out the arts; Cocoa Village will showcase over 200 crafters and artists at its Fall Art & Craft Fair on Oct. 19-20, ensuring patrons can pick up some unique pieces while basking in the ambiance of fall.

When the season turns, and the wind carries the faintest whisper of fall, Central Florida stands ready with its bouquet of fall festivities that cater to thrill-seekers, art lovers, and pumpkin enthusiasts alike. So, as Equinox sets the stage for fall, the region's robust lineup of activities promises to carve out plenty of warm memories, even during an eternal summer.
