According to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, Mr. Jackson was last seen on the evening of September 1, around 9:00 p.m. at his residence on Branchview Drive in Charlotte.
Authorities are anxious for the safety of Mr. Jackson, who has been diagnosed with Dementia and for whom a Missing and Endangered Alert has been issued. Details provided by the police indicate that he may be driving a 2009 Black Volvo V70, with a North Carolina disability placard HD7715J. The vehicle was last recorded on a Flock camera in Norwood, at approximately 2:28 p.m. yesterday. He is described as wearing khaki pants, a baseball cap, and black sneakers at the time of his disappearance.
