On September 10, Columbus Patrol Officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 2900 Block of E 12th Ave. According to a media release by the Columbus Police Department, upon their arrival, authorities found three individuals with gunshot wounds.

Victims, who were found unresponsive, were met by Columbus Fire Medic personnel. Pronounced at the scene were two individuals at 11:48 pm. One suspect succumbed to their injuries a minute later at 11:49 pm.
