On a recent routine traffic patrol, constables from Mark Herman's Office made an arrest that has become a talking point in the local community. On Monday, deputies stopped a driver identified as Laremy Williams, and during the course of the investigation, they discovered that Williams was not only a convicted felon, but he was also in possession of marijuana and unidentified multicolor pills, according to the official Facebook page of Precinct 4.
The stop, which occurred in the 16300 block of the North Freeway, led to further revelations about Williams' legal standing. It was found out, that he had an existing open Misdemeanor Warrant. The substances found in Williams' vehicle, a clear plastic bag containing the marijuana and pills, were confirmed to be not prescribed to him.
Subsequent to the discoveries made by the deputies, Constable Mark Herman stated in a Facebook post, "Laremy Williams was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for the open warrant and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance. His bond was set at $20,000.00 out of the 263rd District Court."
