
A routine traffic stop by Deputy Bernal, under the authority of Constable Mark Herman, took an unexpected turn, resulting in an additional charge for a suspect who was initially held due to outstanding warrants. The incident occurred near Deerbrook Park Blvd and FM 1960 Road, where the suspect, wanted by Pardon and Parole, was found in possession of a controlled substance.
It was during custody that a further episode unfolded, the suspect allegedly concealed more narcotics within her body. The illegal substances were subsequently discovered by authorities in the backseat of the patrol vehicle, having been crushed in the process. According to the Constable's official Facebook page, the suspect is now facing additional legal repercussions for tampering with evidence.
The discovery led to swift medical intervention, as the suspect was transported to the hospital in order to safely remove the remaining drug paraphernalia. The complications of such concealment practices pose significant health risks, necessitating medical professionals to intervene. The identity of the suspect has not been released.
