Deputies from Constable Mark Herman's office successfully retrieved stolen goods, including a trailer containing equipment for SWAT training. The recovery, valued at $20,000.00, was made possible by an alert witness who spotted the missing trailer on the 26000 block of Northwest Fwy, as reported by the Precinct 4 Facebook page.
The authorities were notified on Friday, and swiftly moved to secure the trailer that had earlier been reported stolen, although the thief or thieves made away with the ammunition, the training targets remained intact. The ongoing investigation seeks to uncover the suspects involved in the removal of the ammunition; but deputies have yet to unveil any leads or make arrests.
Upon recovery of the stolen property, the rightful owner was contacted and managed to reclaim his possession.
