Detroit police are on the hunt for a suspect involved in a recent shooting incident on the city's east side. According to details provided by WWJ Newsradio, the altercation occurred in the early hours just before 1 a.m. on Monday in the 1000 block of Lenox St., near Jefferson Ave. The suspect, identified as 48-year-old Brandon Gaynor, reportedly engaged in a "verbal altercation" with another individual before allegedly discharging a firearm and wounding a 50-year-old man.
The confrontation and subsequent shooting were also reported by ClickOnDetroit, which noted that the injured man received treatment at a local hospital and has since been discharged. Authorities are cautioning the public that Gaynor should be considered "armed and dangerous."
