
Two residents of Essex were hospitalized on Tuesday evening with severe injuries after a fire broke out in their home. According to Fox Baltimore, the Baltimore County Fire Department reported that the blaze occurred in the 300 block of Ida Avenue and was primarily in a bedroom. Firefighters responded to the scene around 7:15 p.m. and found smoke billowing from the affected area.
Due to the seriousness of their injuries, the two individuals had to be quickly taken to the hospital. Fire officials confirmed that efforts to fully extinguish the fire were effective.
