Residents of Euless, Texas, are in for an engaging and informative experience as the Euless Police Department and Euless Fire Department gear up to host their annual Public Safety Open House. Slated for October 5 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, the event will take place at a new location this year, Fire Station #1 at 201 E. Ash Lane, due to renovations currently in progress at the Police Station. Community members are excited to be able to quickly come by, bringing along their families to explore the inner workings of the city’s public safety operations.
Attendees will have the opportunity to closely view both police and fire vehicles and will engage in hands-on activities that promote safety awareness. Additionally, the open house will feature special appearances by various community groups such as the Citizens Emergency Response Team, Citizen’s Fire Academy Alumni Association, Citizen’s Police Academy Alumni Association, Citizens on Patrol, and the entertaining clowns from the S.A.F.E.T.Y. Troop.
According to the City of Euless's official website, the open house is free of charge and extends an open invitation to everyone in the area. This event serves as a unique platform for fostering public relations and provides an environment that is as educational as it is entertaining. Local law enforcement and fire departments view it as an opportunity to demystify their roles and connect with the community on a more personal level.
