
An incident unfolded this morning near Balcones Heights, resulting in one fatality and leaving another individual critically injured. According to reports from KENS 5, the emergency call was logged at around 6:50 a.m. along the 500 block of Babcock Road, close to Maverick Elementary School. San Antonio Police confirmed that two people were hit by a vehicle and sustained life-threatening injuries in the crash.
As per the San Antonio Fire Department, one of the victims was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other was transported to the hospital with injuries whose severity was unknown at the time.
