If you're in the market for a furry friend and like supporting good causes, you've got a window of opportunity this Friday at Fort Worth's New City Hall. According to the City of Fort Worth, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. tomorrow, it’s going to be raining cats, but not literally. Fort Worth's City Hall will be hosting an adoption event, inviting locals to meet, greet, and potentially take home a new feline family member.
Fort Worth Animal Shelter is joining forces with New City Hall to do something a bit special for the community and the kittens that need a forever home. Hoping to draw a crowd, the City of Fort Worth details that there will be "incredibly adorable kittens" ready for adoption. This is a chance to not only pick up a cuddly companion but also to meet the Fort Worth Animal Care & Control team, learn about the shelter's volunteer and foster programs, and perhaps make a difference in these animals' lives.
The so-called 'Kitty Hall' event is opening its doors to the public, offering a bonus for potential pet parents, the adoption fees have been waived for the day. Every kitten comes vaccinated and microchipped, ensuring they're ready to start a healthy life in their new homes. Adding to the ease of the event, parking at 100 Fort Worth Trail is free, which is a handy edge for those considering swinging by during their lunch breaks.
