The Fort Worth Police Department is asking for assistance from the community in tracking down a suspect and vehicle connected to a violent event that unfolded this past weekend.
On Sunday, officers responded following a 911 call reporting a minor two-vehicle collision on SB Loop 820/ NB US 287. The incident quickly escalated when, according to the wife of one of the drivers who made the emergency call, her husband was shot by the other involved party. The shooter then fled the scene before police could arrive, leaving behind a damaged vehicle, according to the Fort Worth Police Department.
A critical piece of evidence, the suspect vehicle's front bumper was discovered at the accident site. The bumper has been identified as belonging to a Blue Infiniti G35, either the coupe or sedan model.
The police have turned to the public for further clues and are urging anyone with information about a Blue Infiniti G35 showing signs of recent front-end damage (specifically a missing bumper) to come forward.
