If you're a fan of brain teasers and historical vibes, it's time to gather the fam and head to Dallas City Park. In a mix of leisure and lore, the Dallas Park and Recreation together with the Dallas Public Library are throwing a series of free puzzle events perfect for family outings.
According to the City of Dallas, this puzzle-piece shindig is part of a monthly affair running through December, where the public has a chance to soak in some Victorian-era scenery while exercising the old gray matter. With 20 acres of historic homes and commercial buildings, City Park, also known as Old City Park, seems to effortlessly offer a glimpse into 19th-century Texan life along with free entertainment.
Located at 1717 Gano Street in Dallas, the City Park serves as a window to the past, nestled smack in the urban heart. The park, showcasing homes and commercial structures from the Victorian era is an attempt by the city to provide both an educational and recreational space for residents and visitors alike.
