
Miami's culinary scene is getting even better with a new partnership. The Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau and the City of Miami Beach find alignment with Freebee, a rideshare service known for its commitment to eco-friendly transportation, offering locals and tourists alike a pathway to indulge in a medley of South Beach's gastronomic offerings.
In a statement obtained by NBC Miami, it is detailed that the Freebee service will be available through September 30 with diners invited to summon a ride at no cost between the hours of 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. from Monday to Thursday, on Fridays the cars will run till midnight, Saturdays from 11 a.m. to midnight and on Sundays from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
The Freebee app sits at the core of this initiative, serving as the portal through which eager guests can direct their commute to over 60 participating restaurants within designated areas of South Beach, specifically south of 17th Street. For those not within the immediate pickup radius, several city parking garages are doubling as convenient gathering points, including locations at 7th Street and Collins Avenue, among others.
In conjunction with Freebee's expedient provisions, Miami Spice continues to be a top event for food lovers, where prix fixe offer affordable menus that mix exotic and familiar flavors, according to a notice from Miami Beach News on X, guests can unearth further details about the event and the restaurants, alongside the necessary steps to book a cost-free ride through the Freebee app.
