During a routine traffic stop on Saturday, Harris County deputies apprehended a suspected drug offender, later identified as Darrell Moore. The stop was initiated due to the vehicle being reported stolen and consequently led to the discovery of narcotics, as confirmed by a Facebook post by Constable Mark Herman's Office. Removed from the car and cuffed, Moore, along with two other occupants, stood by as deputies searched the vehicle.
According to the official narrative of the incident, a used crack pipe and what appeared to be Crack Cocaine weighing over 400 grams were found beneath the vehicle's right rear door, where Moore had been standing prior to his removal – now a charged individual with a steep climb to reach a presumed innocence.
Constable Herman's statement in a Facebook post anchored the case with the specifics of the charges, “Darrell Moore was arrested, transported to the Harris County Jail, and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance over 400 grams. His bond was set at $10,000.00 out of the 185th District Court."
