On Saturday, deputies from Constable Mark Herman's Office swiftly responded to a report of a suspicious person in the 8800 block of River Ridge View Lane. The responding officers identified the individual as Ashley Leissner, who was wanted on an open warrant from Pardon and Paroles. During the arrest, deputies unearthed Methamphetamine on her person, tipping off a series of events that would lead them further down a rabbit hole of criminal possession.
Having been taken into custody, it didn't take long for a more disturbing discovery to be made. According to a statement by Constable Mark Herman, posted on the Precinct 4 Facebook page, "While being taken into custody, it was discovered that she was in possession of Methamphetamine." Her transgressions against the law lurched deeper as officers realized that she was also attempting to dispose of yet another hidden cache of the drug, which was secreted away in her genitalia.
The saga continued at the jail where Leissner, seeking to erase the evidence of her crimes, attempted to destroy the additional bag of Methamphetamine. Following this incident, she required medical assistance to remove more drug paraphernalia that was concealed in her body cavity, necessitating a transport to a local hospital to carry out this delicate procedure.
"Ashley Leisnner was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for the open warrant and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Tampering with Evidence. Her total bond was set at $23,500.00 out of the 209th District Court," explicitly detailed the Constable in a Facebook post.
