
The Hawai’i Island police have turned to the community for help in a recent burglary case. Officials are seeking to identify one individual believed to be linked to a break-in reported on Kaumana Drive in Hilo, according to the Hawai‘i Police Department in Nixle.
The incident took place on the evening of September 19, between the hours of 10:00 and 11:00 p.m., at a local business. Authorities released surveillance footage stills of the suspect and are urging anyone who may recognize the person, or who might have relevant details about the crime, to come forward. Captain Rio Amon-Wilkins of the Area I Criminal Investigation Division, who is heading the inquiry, has availed contact channels to the public for this purpose.
