
On the early hours of September 10, Holdenville Police Department apprehended Keith Bear, a man previously sought on a $20,000 felony warrant for domestic assault and battery by strangulation and aggravated burglary, after a foot chase, OKC FOX reports.
Bear was additionally charged with assault and battery on a police officer, possession of controlled dangerous substances, possession of paraphernalia, and obstructing an officer in the incident, which involved a foot pursuit and fight with officers, according to the KFOR article detailing the arrest and subsequent skirmish.
Following the arrest, the Holdenville Police Department posted on its Facebook page that "Keith Bear was arrested tonight after a foot pursuit and fight with Holdenville Officers," and reiterated that Bear is now also facing charges pertaining to the altercation with the authorities; this includes the new allegations of assaulting law enforcement and drug-related offense. All the information released so far emphasizes that everyone is presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
