During a routine traffic stop on Will Clayton Parkway, a situation unfolded leading to the arrest of Morgan Bishop, as a Sergeant from Constable Mark Herman's Office discovered controlled substances in her possession. According to a Facebook post by Precinct 4, the Sergeant found Bishop with 28 pills of Adderall and a measurable amount of Methamphetamine hidden away in a prescription bottle.
Bishop's encounter with the constables, on the 12300 block of Will Clayton Parkway, escalated when her vehicle was stopped and the substances were found; dealing her a dual charge of Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1 along with a Misdemeanor for Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 3, two designations reflecting the distinct legal weight of the drugs in her hold the weight of her choices now measured by the scales of justice.
"Morgan Bishop was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1 and Misdemeanor Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 3. Her total bond was set at $5,100.00 out of the 180th District Court and County Court 15," stated Constable Mark Herman in the department's official Facebook page regarding the incident.
