Two men have been charged in connection to a shooting that left three others wounded on Fulton Street in August. Authorities are currently on the lookout for Jonathan Jesus Aguilar, 19, and Carlos Jose Aguilar, 25, who have both been slapped with three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, as documented in the 338th State District Court. The Houston Police Department has circulated photos of the suspects, who are still at large.
On the night of the incident, HPD patrol officers were called to 1701 Fulton Street where they discovered three men with gunshot injuries. The Houston Fire Department paramedics transported the victims to local hospitals, where they were reportedly in stable condition. According to an initial investigation quoted by the HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division, an altercation had previously taken place at the residence. The suspects are believed to have returned to the scene and opened fire on the victims who were outside.
Further investigations identified the Jonathan and Carlos Aguilar, brothers, as the suspects responsible for the violence. Upon reviewing the evidence, the Harris County District Attorney's Office proceeded with filing the aforementioned charges. As the brothers continue to evade capture, the HPD has urged anyone with information on their whereabouts to come forward.
