
Houston authorities are in the process of uncovering the circumstances behind the death of a male, whose body was discovered yesterday at a residence on West Alabama Street. According to a press release from the Houston Police Department, the man, aged 38, was found by officers responding to a call at around 8:30 p.m., and he was pronounced dead by paramedics upon their arrival.
The identity of the deceased is still to be confirmed by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences, as they conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of death, the man was found unresponsive with lacerations to his face. Homicide Division Sergeant K. Meek and Detective A. Hernandez are handling the investigation; however, the motives and the person or persons responsible remain unidentified at this time.
Houston police are calling on anyone with information relevant to this incident to come forward and assist in the ongoing investigation. With no suspects in custody, the community's assistance could be critical in piecing together the events that led to the death of the man at 3805 West Alabama.
