The Houston Police Department is seeking information from the public to aid in the capture of two suspects involved in a violent robbery at a convenience store in Houston. The incident took place in the early morning hours of Sunday, July 28, at approximately 5:30 am. According to the Houston Police Robbery Division, an armed male and his accomplice, a female, targeted a store located on the 6800 block of Bissonnet, shattering its glass door with a rock and proceeding to threaten the store clerk with a handgun.
Despite the clerk's quick thinking to secure herself in an area behind the register, the suspects, unable to access the cash, started looting the store for various items before making their escape on foot. The Houston PD provided descriptions of the suspects: a Hispanic male seen wearing a black Nike shirt, black pants, and black cap, and his counterpart, a Hispanic female, wearing a gray pullover and camo pants, carrying a multicolored backpack.
This crime, being investigated under case number 1077025-24, prompted an announcement from the authorities seeking the public's help. Crime Stoppers of Houston has issued a notice that a cash reward of up to $5,000 is available for information leading to the charging and/or arrest of the felony suspects involved in this aggravated robbery.
