The Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division is seeking assistance from the public in identifying two suspects involved in an armed robbery at a sports store on W. FM 1960 in Houston. Per the details provided by the department, on the evening of Saturday, April 13, two males reportedly entered the store, selected boxes of ammunition from the firearm section, and concealed the items in their clothing after retreating to the store’s restroom.
An encounter escalated quickly when an employee approached the suspects as they attempted to leave with the stolen goods. According to Houston PD, one of the suspects produced a handgun and pointed it at the employee, intensifying the theft into an aggravated robbery. The suspects then fled the scene in a black Jeep Gladiator, outfitted with distinctive red lighting. Information regarding the incident was shared on the Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division website.
The suspects are described as two Hispanic males, with one wearing a black shirt and red shorts, and the other a black jacket and black shorts.
