A residence in Lower Burrell succumbed to flames on Wednesday, leaving behind a structure marred by fire. Its roof was partially missing, and its exterior was darkened by the remnants of smoke and searing heat. As reported by WPXI, emergency dispatchers sent crews to Michigan Avenue at around 10:46 a.m. in response to calls about an active conflagration tearing through the home.
Sky 4, a helicopter dispatched by WTAE, provided aerial footage of the scene as firefighters doused the blazing house with water. Still, the cause of the fire is not yet determined, and there has been no confirmation as to whether anyone was inside the property at the time of the incident.
No injuries have been reported, but the fire has impacted neighbors emotionally. While their homes are safe, they have witnessed another home destroyed by a powerful and uncontrollable fire.
