The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is actively searching for two teenage suspects linked to the fatal shooting of 16-year-old Harold Patterson. Patterson's death, which occurred on September 4, has sparked an investigation after his body was discovered with multiple gunshot wounds near an abandoned Edgewood Avenue residence.

According to News4JAX, the JSO states that Patterson was spending time with friends when the two suspects approached and an altercation ensued, ultimately leading to the shooting. To help quickly locate the suspects, the JSO has released descriptions: one suspect is approximately 5 feet 9 inches with a thin build, short hair, and braces without rubber bands; the other is about 5 feet 7 inches with a thin build, medium-length dreads with blonde/red tips, and sports tattoos on the side of his neck and hand.

Further details were provided in a press release cited by First Coast News, describing the first suspect as wearing a black T-shirt and black pants with white stripes alongside black Crocs, while the second suspect was noted to be wearing a grey hoodie, red pants, black and white slides, and carrying a black Nike backpack.

Furthermore, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office Facebook page has posted images of the suspects. A reward of up to $3,000 is being offered for information leading to the suspects' identification. Residents can contact the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office directly or provide tips anonymously through First Coast Crime Stoppers to be eligible for the reward.
