Portions of the surrounding road are also inaccessible to the general public due to safety concerns brought about by high water levels.
While the closures are in place, people residing along Lake George Road can still travel to and from their properties. However, officials have advised them to limit trips and proceed with an elevated degree of caution during their commutes.
