
In the early hours of Sept. 25, the Long Beach Police Department responded to a report of an assault with a deadly weapon on the 1300 block of Daisy Avenue, where they found a male victim with a stab wound to the upper body.
After the altercation, which arose from a verbal dispute, the female suspect fled the scene leaving the victim to be transported to a local hospital by Long Beach Fire Department personnel, according to an official account from the Long Beach Police Department.
Elsewhere, Long Beach officers spotted an unserialized gun after a routine alleyway patrol near 14th Street and Del Rey Court turned into a chase when a male suspect discarded something and attempted to flee on foot, however, he was detained and the object was determined to be a firearm, this incident occurred just before 2 a.m., roughly an hour before the stabbing—both cases are currently under investigation by local authorities, as detailed by the Long Beach Police Department.
