Los Angeles residents can look forward to a mix of foggy mornings and mostly sunny afternoons heading into the final week of September, with temperatures consistently hovering in the mid-80s. The National Weather Service predicts patchy dense fog clearing by mid-morning today, followed by gradual clearing skies with an afternoon high of about 85 degrees.
The foggy trend will resume each night through the rest of the week. Tonight, though, Angelenos can expect mostly clear skies with lows around 63 degrees before the fog makes its nightly appearance. Tuesday mirrors today's weather, sunny after the fog lifts, with a high approaching 85 degrees.
The weather service indicates that patchy dense fog will develop after 11:00 p.m. on Tuesday, ushering in increasing clouds and a low of around 61 degrees. The forecast remains steady for Wednesday, with morning fog giving way to mostly sunny conditions and a high of 81 degrees.
Looking towards the weekend, the pattern shows a slight dip in temperatures, with Friday feeling a touch warmer at 82 degrees under mostly sunny skies. Yet the nights remain largely unchanged, with patchy fog reasserting itself and the mercury dropping to around 61. With these conditions, Saturday and Sunday outdoor plans should be unencumbered by weather concerns, featuring patchy morning fog followed by mostly sunny skies and highs near 80 and 78 degrees, respectively.
